We will meet at the gate to the “Bloody Lake Rendezvous” at the Blackhawk Memorial Park in Lafayette County near Woodford and Argyle WI.  We will meet at 10:00 am but don’t worry about being late – we won’t be hard to find and I can be reached by phone at 608-482-2483.  Admission is $2 and historically appropriate lunch will be served at Barb’s tent (she is a participant).  The walking is easy on mowed grass that is fairly level.  There are food and material vendors.  The time period is fur trade era from 1600’s to 1840.  Parking may be hard to find close to the gate so drop off anyone with mobility issues at the gate and then park (there is a loop to go around again).  There is black powder shooting, tomahawk and knife throwing, music, etc. hope to see you there.
